Atiku Visits Babangida, Abdulsalam Abubakar In Minna

Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice-President and presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday visited Nigeria’s former military ruler, General Ibrahim Babangida (retd.) and Nigeria’s former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, in Minna, the Niger State capital.

Atiku’s visit to Babangida is his second in less than three months, as on July 1, 2018, he held a meeting with the former Military President behind closed doors.

The visit formed part of his activities as he visited Niger State for an interaction with PDP stakeholders in Minna.

He was accompanied on the visit by chieftains of the PDP.

He appreciated PDP members for welcoming him to the “Power State”, as he described it.

A tweet via his handle read: “The reception and interaction with stakeholders of our great party @OfficialPDPNig in Minna today was exhilarating. Happy to be in The Power State and thank you for the time.”

The visits to Babangida and Abubakar were tweeted via the handle of the Youths For Atiku support group.
