Despite recent rumours that they could be reconciling, Jennifer Garner has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck.
The move comes nearly two years after the actors announced the end of their 11-year marriage and a month after Affleck confirmed a recent stint in rehab for alcohol addiction.
According to TMZ, which described the split as “amicable,” her filing and his response were done together and without lawyers. They reportedly both want joint legal and physical custody of their three children and are still negotiating their financials.
There reportedly is no prenup.
Affleck, 44, and Garner, 44, first announced their split in June 2015.
“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” they told Page Six in a statement at the time. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children, whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
Reps for Affleck and Garner did not immediately return requests for comment.
