Happy International Piano Day, everyone.
Railway commuters getting on or off at London’s St. Pancras station on Wednesday morning were given an unexpected early-morning treat: John Legend, singing a couple of his biggest hits and tickling the ivories of the piano that’s long been a fixture of the station.
Legend was there to celebrate International Piano Day and to do some quick promo for his new album Darkness and Light, as well as its accompanying tour. Legend played his signature classics, “Ordinary People” and “All of Me,” as well as the Darkness ballad “Surefire.”
It’s International Piano Day today! We can’t wait to hear all the performances on our station pianos!
