Here are our predictions for the winners and losers.
WINNERS
Bryce Cartwright – Set to finally return from an ankle injury. With a break even of 179, he will be very juicy in a few weeks.
Matt Frawley – The star cheapie has steered the Bulldogs home three weeks in a row and could score the starting halfback spot this week, with Moses Mbye to switch to hooker and Michael Lichaa on the bench.
Angus Crichton – Set to again be named as an 80 minute edge back rower. Has averaged 80 over the last two weeks, is dual CTW/2RF and the Rabbitohs have the best bye schedule in the comp.
Kodi Nikorima – Downgrade option at five-eighth or hooker following a promising game in place of Ben Hunt (hamstring, round 12).
LOSERS
Kalyn Ponga – May lose his starting spot to Lachlan Coote, who returns from a calf injury.
Gideon Gela-Mosby – Expected to drop out to accommodate Antonio Winterstein (broken arm).
Sam Burgess – Faces a two week suspension for a shoulder charge.
Robert Jennings – Likely to be dropped following a poor defensive display, with Hymel Hunt (suspension) to return.
Ryley Jacks – Set to lose his starting spot to Cameron Munster (broken jaw).
