NSW have officially ushered in their new ­generation.

For so long the Blues have relied on the likes of Paul Gallen and Robbie Farah, but the baton has now been passed on to a new wave of NSW players who have been entrusted with snapping Queensland’s Origin dominance.

The Daily Telegraph has obtained a first look at the new State of Origin television campaign, which will be launched Monday.

Front and centre for the Blues are Aaron Woods, Boyd Cordner, Josh Jackson and David Klemmer. Woods and Cordner are in contention to ­replace Gallen as Blues skipper.

The theme for the advertisement is Nothing Hits You Like Origin.

The campaign moves away from the traditional big hits and physicality of previous years. Instead, it tries to drive the emotional impact of Origin and takes fans into the respective teams’ dressing rooms.

“This campaign brings to life the nervous ­anticipation felt by players and fans alike,” said Peter Jarmain, the NRL’s general manager of marketing and brand.
