THE Burgess boys have been hit with some mixed news after Sam was charged by the NRL match review committee but younger brother George cleared following South Sydney’s loss to Canterbury yesterday.

Sam is facing a two-game ban after being hit with a grade one shoulder charge for his late shot on Canterbury player Greg Eastwood.

George was lucky to escape being hit with another suspension, cleared of elbowing Canterbury player Aidan Tolman.

The Rabbitohs play Brisbane on Friday.
